Namet Ethiopian Coffee was founded by an immigrant family who moved from Ethiopia to Canada in 2017, carrying with them a deep respect for coffee not only as a beverage, but as a way of life. In Ethiopia, coffee is central to daily life. It is how people gather, exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and strengthen relationships. Coffee represents hospitality, trust, and community. Namet Ethiopian Coffee was created to bring this culture of connection to Canada, sharing the flavours we grew up loving while using coffee as a bridge between people, cultures, and conversations.

Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee and home to some of the world’s most distinctive and complex flavour profiles. From floral and citrus notes to deep, wine-like sweetness, Ethiopian coffee tells a story shaped by land, climate, and tradition. We carefully source Ethiopian green coffee and combine traditional Ethiopian knowledge with precise, modern roasting techniques. This approach allows us to preserve the coffee’s original character while delivering balance, clarity, and consistency in every cup.
Each roast is intentional. Each batch honours the coffee's origin.

Our coffee is freshly roasted in Kitchener, Ontario, at KW Coffee Collective, a professional roasting facility with advanced technical expertise. This partnership ensures our coffee meets the highest standards from the green bean to the final cup, while remaining fresh and full of character.
